 Eligibility for mba admission in ignou

• Any graduate (Including Chartered Accountancy/Cost Accountancy/Company Secretaryship) with 50% marks for general category/45% for reserved category as per government of India rules.
• The student should ensure that his/her CGPA should meet the eligibility percentage requirement.
• Student have to clear of OPENMAT entrance test of IGNOU conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA)
• No age limit

Entrance Test (OPENMAT XLVI and XLVII)

Admission to Management Programmes of IGNOU is done through the OPENMAT Entrance test, held twice a
year. For appearing in the entrance test (OPENMAT) a student has to fill up the APPLICATION FORM FOR
OPENMAT ENTRANCE TEST which has to be filled online only. Weblink for filling online form is

Ignou mba syllabus and fee structure

The ignou Mba  Programme fee consists of 21 courses in all. The fees for each course are Rs. 1800/- (i.e. total fees is 21X1800 = Rs. 37800). These courses comprise of:

• All the courses from MS-1 to MS-09 and MS-11
• Five courses from any one of the specialization stream
• Compulsory Courses (MS-10, MS-91, MS-95) and anyone elective course out of MS-92/93/94/96/97
• Project Course (MS-100) equivalent to 2 courses

Course Duration

The duration of the MBA Programme is 2 years.  

Ignou MBA Course Structure

Semester I	Any five courses from MS-1 to MS-11 excluding MS-10
Semester II	Rest of the five courses
Semester III	MS-10, MS-95, two specialization courses of your choice and MS-100
Semester IV	MS-91, three specialization courses from the specialization stream opted in SemesterIII and anyone elective course out of MS-92,93,94,96,97.
